Way to Bike! Camp
Do you want to teach your child how to ride a bicycle but don’t know where to start? Has your child been practicing for months but they just can’t seem to ride their bike independently?
The Way to Bike! Camp is designed to help your child gain the skills, confidence, and know-how to give them the extra “push” they need to ride their bike independently.
HOW?
The Way to Bike Camp was designed by Way to Grow’s Occupational Therapist, Drew and Hannah, to help your child improve the balance, coordination, motor planning, and sensory regulation skills they need to ride their bike. During the first 2 ½ hour session, you and your child will work with Hannah or Drew to develop an individualized plan that will include exercises, practice strategies, and extra tips your child might need to ride their bicycle. During the second session, you and your child will review your progress, get more practice, and make any needed alterations to your plan.
WHEN?
The Way to Bike Camp is made up of two 2 ½ hour sessions that will take place on Saturday, September 6th and Saturday, September 20th. Both sessions will begin at 10 am.

Literacy Detectives: Elementary Group
Join our 4-week session, beginning July 9th, and continuing Wednesdays at 10:15 am at our Pediatric Therapy Center in Peoria Heights! This 45-minute group is for children 5-7 years of age, and cost of enrollment is $150. This group will be facilitated by skilled speech-language pathologist, Olivia, and will target phonological and literacy skills, all while engaging participants with detective hunts + mystery along the way!

Flipping Over the 4th
Flipping Over the 4th is a pop-up Tumble Club + Developmental Screener for kiddos of all ages + abilities, 6 months and up! Led by physical + occupational therapists, this is a great opportunity to bring your kids for some tumbling fun + get your developmental questions answered all at the same time! Not to mention, we’ll finish our time by cooling down with some popsicles! (Don’t miss out!)
The pop up will occur on Wednesday, July 2nd from 10 am - 12 noon at Way to Grow Pediatric Therapy, located at 4450 N. Prospect Rd, Suite C5 in Peoria Heights. Walk-ins are welcome, but for early registration, sign up below!
